We’re open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner from 5pm to 9pm. The restaurant started in a very small space in Ventnor, the beach town near Atlantic City on Absecon Island, where chefs-owners John and Vicki Merlino live. In 2008 the restaurant moved down the street to its current location on the corner of Jerome and Ventnor Avenues, about a block and a half from the beach.

Manna has been well reviewed by local and regional press, including Craig LaBan of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Unique: This is the restaurant that held a recipe contest challenging local amateur bakers to best the chocolate cake on their menu. Diners judged the items over the course of a few weeks and picked the one they liked best. That’s how the Chocolate Oblivion Torte got on the menu.

Comfortable: The staff wants to delight you.  Warm, friendly atmosphere.  This is a place where people enter as diners and leave as friends.

Delectable: The food is heavenly. Sharing your dinner or dessert with people at the next table is optional. Check out our menus –  our regular menu and tonight’s specials.

Parking: Two lots behind the building and on the street on Jerome Avenue

After 5pm you can park in the lot behind our building. The entrance  to the lot is on Jerome Avenue right next to the side entrance of John Roberts Salon.

Reservations: Recommended, but not required from September through April. Strongly recommended during the  summer from May through the end of August.  Especially Thursday through Saturday.

Liquor license: We are a BYO restaurant, with a liquor store, Downbeach Liquors, one block away.  Between me and you, if you tell him you  are coming to Manna you will recieve a 10% discount.
